There is a time and place for everything and after being open most of the time since 1991 I’ve decided to close the farm to the public.
Instead, I’m going to be offering all of our products, herb plants, certified organic dried medicinal herbs & teas, local, raw honey, infused honeys, herb & honey artisan soaps, herbal salves, beeswax candles and other related products at the OLD MIAKKA FARMER’S MARKET every SATURDAY from 9 – 2. The market is held on the grounds of the CROWLEY MUSEUM & NATURE CENTER in Old Miakka in eastern Sarasota County.

For those of you who have asked for a place to buy LOCAL, RAW HONEY in town (Sarasota), it is now available at Gabriel Center for Massage Therapy located at Gold Tree Plaza, 2886 Ringling Blvd., corner of Ringling Blvd. and Tuttle Ave.
If you are in the Sarasota – Bradenton area or visiting and would like to see a bit of “Old Florida”, please stop in at the Old Miakka Farmer’s Market and see us.
Traveling on I75 north or south, take exit #210 east (Fruitville Road). Travel east on Fruitville Rd. approximately 12 miles until the road dead ends on Verna/ Myakka Rd. Turn right on Myakka Rd. and continue about 2 1/2 miles to the Crowley Museum & Nature Center.
